[Spacecadets] SPACECADETS - Space Allocation Plan proposal

Charel,
I don’t understand the question. I drew up a plan awhile ago, but never sent it via email. I spoke with various members. It looks like JT has it handled, unless he wants help. I’d really like to do more for space cadets, are we meeting anytime soon? Did Bandit send an email I missed?

I had a plan for every member to have space upstairs, and if possible raise Quelab’s rate $5 per month, which would cover the cost of wood for shelving, and whatever else we’d need up there. In return, each member would get a space. Many members want a little space for their stuff, and I personally don’t care how long they keep it there, just as long as it doesn’t sprawl or become dangerous. Things that are super useful in a MakerSpace are scrap items, like wood, metal, and plastic. I wanted to have a place upstairs to store this, because the scrap seems to irritate some of the officers when it’s downstairs.

I think that some way of making them reasonable for storage or removal of materials is important. Area captain time shroud be used to monitor not to deal with storage and removal. I know no better way to encourage responsibly than monetarily. I propose free storage for say one month and then a space charge for each month for six month and then a must remove date. Quelab has too many members and they have too many ideas that can quickly over run our space. I do not think we want to become a free or pay storage space, members have homes or can find other space for long term storage. It is apparent that we have over run our space and to make things we need space to make.
