[MachineShop] cutting wax, logbook

I'm going to work on getting the carving done over this weekend and cast it
in bronze next week. I'll report back with how it turns out! Also I
unplugged the lathe and flipped the breaker off as part of my cleanup of
the machine shop afterwards.
