[QUELAB CNC] CNC Digest, Vol 10, Issue 12

Paul, Hi -
I purchased some 1/4 in dia end-mills a year ago. Or rather, I THOUGHT I
did.

Some that came from e-bay were indeed 1/4 inch shank diameter.
Some came in but were a, So-Called, metric equivalent diameter that when
installed did a small wobble. So, I got burned.

ANY wobble is unacceptable.

All end mills were left with the router. But I fear they may have become
misplaced?

Morgan told me the display was bad? Has it been replaced ... or what?

I usually get used aluminum stock at the surplus city on Central just East
of Eubank by walking around.
If I cannot find what I need, I've bought, for example, bar stock on ebay.

We really should get the interested parties together to review the status
and to agree on a list of needed stuff.

Date and Time?

Dr. Opto

Darren,

Albuquerque Bolt & Fastener worked great they are close to Quelab and have a
reasonable selection.

John,

The Easel 3.3 driver is supposed to work with GRBL 1.1. but if it doesn't we
can "downgrade" to the 1.0 GRBL distribution from Inventables.

Michael,

The only project I have in mind at the time being is to make y axis
stiffeners that are 2.5"x5"x0.125". Other than that anything smaller than
15"x15" will work.
